5 Wonderful Months

It is hard to believe that 5 months have already passed! We are all doing great. Kevin has definately mastered flipping from his back to his tummy, and we are working on flipping back over. He also has begun to enjoy sitting unassisted. He is still a bit wobbly but he is getting quite good at it.

Steve took some photos to celebrate Kevins 5 month birthday, they are in his gallery if you would like to look. They are all wonderful, but I think the one of Kevin and Kit is great. Kit put on his best "smile" for the photo.

Hope for Africa Children's Choir concert

Last night Kevin and I went to a concert at the FUMC in Round Rock. The concert was showcased 25 children from four different countries in Africa and the proceeds helped to support the orphaned children in Africa.

It was an amazing concert and hearing the children's stories was heart wrenching. Many of their parents died of starvation, illness, or of AIDS. Most of the kids had been starved and were mistreated. This was thier first trip to the US and their first concert.

I tried to take photos, but they really didn't come out. But I did get some videos. You can find them in my photo gallery. Please note that they are pretty shaky, because I had Kevin in his carrier on my chest and he was bouncing around to the music.

Also here is their website if you would like to check them out. http://hopeforafricachildrenschoir.org/

Happy Anniversary!

Yesterday Steve and I celebrated our 2 year anniversary. We had a great time chilling out and playing with Kevin. Kevin also celebrated yesterday by mastering how to roll on to his tummy. But he can't roll back over and gets pretty upset being on his stomach for a long time.

Also yesterday was a very happy day for Lora and John. Allison and Travis Walker came into the world at 5:15pm. Both babies and mom are doing great. I went to go see them today and got some photos of the happy family. They are in my photo gallery if you want to check them out.

Smiles!
