Kevin has really been wanting to feed himself with utensils lately and I have been hesitant. Mainly because of the mess, bad mom I know. So today I started by giving him peas. He really couldn't get them to stay on the spoon. So we moved to Strawberry applesauce. It worked a bit better. He did get frustrated because he would turn the spoon sideways and the applesauce would fall off. But eventually he figured out how to keep the spoon still as it moved to his mouth. He hasn't quite gotten the scooping part down yet. But in the end he felt it took took too long so he just ate/sucked it out of the container.
Ahh forget the spoon just suck it out of the container.
One of God's greatest gifts is the gift of being a parent.
Welcome!
Hello. Stephen and I met in June 2003 and we were married in April 2006. On November 27, 2007 we welcomed our amazing son, Kevin, into the world. For many years I worked in higher education with some amazing students. But when Kevin was born I became a stay at home mom. Stephen works for a small not-for-profit consortium that works in the process automation industry. It is an awesome job that he loves and it allows him to travel internationally. A really nice bonus (especially when I am able to go with him). We really hope you enjoy checking out our blog. God Bless!
